Workshop June 5th - 7th at Carmel Visual Arts

Participants of all levels are invited to participate in this affordable group workshop at Carmel Visual Arts. Participants will use Gerlach's personal collection of cameras and lenses to produce ambrotypes, tintypes, and negatives. You are encouraged to bring your own objects to the studio to shoot. Still life and portraiture will be the main focus of the workshop, with a model (nude and costume) as your muse on the 3rd and final day of the workshop. Registration is limited to 10 participants.

This workshop is designed for beginners but experienced wet plate photographers will also have a lot to learn. It will be held indoors, with a pop-up darkroom to process the images. Each student will return home with several images that they have exposed and developed by hand.
